Ronald Akuna’s message after the scary HBP channel will send chills to Braves fans

Atlanta Braves player Ronald Acuña has already missed one season after season, he’s not about to sit on another player.

Forced to sit out throughout the post-season 2021 due to injury, Ronald Acuña had to watch from the dugout as Freddy Freeman’s then-team won the franchise’s first global championship in decades.

With Freeman out the door, Acuña is one of the undisputed leaders of this group. He will be called up at the big moments in this postseason.

During Wednesday’s game two, Velez bowler Zach Wheeler hit Acuña with a 96-mph fastball in his hand. Acuña writhed in pain, but stayed in the game, eventually scoring the Braves first.

Acuña was still an asset to the Braves on the court as well.

When asked about his post-match injury, Acuña revealed that his X-rays came back negative, and that there was no way he would miss another qualifier after last year.

“I already missed one postseason, I won’t miss another opportunity,” Akunya said.

Brave fans get chills at Ronald Acuña’s comment

Well, Ronnie. You have our interest.

Acuña manages to avoid injury this time around, but his stance often leaves him weak in the inner elbow and hand area. Hopefully this will be the last time he flirts with disaster in 2022 after the season is over.

As for Atlanta, they tied the series in one game despite only hitting four hits on Wednesday night. Wheeler gave up three runs, all in the sixth round of play, which began with Acuña reaching base.

Kyle Wright was excellent for the brave on the bump, and gave his team every opportunity to eventually scratch through a few kicks.
