Michigan crushes Pennsylvania to make a monster statement

Michigan sends a big statement to the rest of the college football world with Penn State’s win.

While it was an incredibly tight match in the half, Michigan ran across Pennsylvania in the second to easily win, 41-17.

As it turns out, getting into the tunnel with the Wolverines midway through the first half was the worst thing the Nittany Lions could ever do. It was Michigan 17-16 through two quarters, but Wolverine came out with A-guns blazing in the last two frames. They’ve outperformed the Nittany Lions by 25-3 over the past two quarters. The Wolverines have improved to 7-0 this season.

While some people still criticize Wolverine’s soft schedule, winning over a rival team is a huge deal.

Michigan makes a big statement by hitting Big Ten rival Pennsylvania

It was Michigan field goals and a Penn State mandatory turn that brought the game close to the first half.

However, the dominant day on Earth of the Wolverines’ rushing attack quickly made this game even more laughable in the end.

It got so out of hand in Ann Arbor that new five-star quarterback Drew Allar took charge of the miserably ineffective Shaun Clifford in the game. Clifford completed nearly a third of his passes in what was his sixth college season. It might be time for James Franklin to make the move full time…

In the end, Michigan will almost certainly make it to The Horseshoe undefeated. The biggest game on the schedule so far into Ohio State history is the previous week’s game against a potential Big Ten West champ in Illinois. As for the Nittany Lions, they might not have what it takes to beat the Buckeyes at home, even if it’s Whiteout. They are more likely to finish in 10-2 than 11-1.

Michigan played the College Football Playoff last year, and the Wolverines may return this year.
