Braves radio announcer destroys Ronald Acuña over the play ‘Lazy’ (video)

Atlanta Braves radio announcer Ronald Acuna Jr. called out for a “lazy” play in Game 4 of the NLDS, saying it was horrible to watch.

Atlanta Braves radio announcer decimated Braves player Ronald Acuña Jr. for a “lazy” play in Game 4 of the NLDS.

Phillies catcher JT Realmuto hit a ride inside the park that Acuña ran for but failed to jump for, and the announcer was clearly not in love with her.

Joe Simpson saidLazy play on Ronald Acuna Jr.’s part. He was a spectator. He never moved. He didn’t even make any move towards the right center. The ball came from the wall towards the right center, and then it started like this. It’s very interesting to watch Ronald Akuna Jr. watch this play.”

Acuña has also been called “a spectator”. Acuña has faced several injuries this season and has mentioned before that he plays a lot in pain, so it’s possible that his injuries contributed to his unfavorable approach.

Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr has suffered multiple injuries this season

Acuña has suffered six injuries this season. In April, he sustained a knee injury. In May, he had a thigh and quadriceps injury. In June, he injured his knee and foot. In August, he was lower body and knee. In late September, he was shot in the back. It’s been one problem after another, and he hasn’t performed as well as in the past.

Although there is no confirmation that his decline in performance is due to his injuries, it wouldn’t be entirely surprising. He also sat in the second half of the 2021 season with an ACL tear, and his injuries are likely related to that as well.

In general, he is physically out of service. Although its outcome is not favorable, it is likely not the result of laziness, but the result of injury.

After the play, Eric Young Jr. spoke with the entire Braves Stadium to explain exactly what went wrong. Mistakes do happen, but the lack of awareness on Acuña’s part must be worrying, especially considering he was at such a big moment.
