On Sunday Night Football, they brought the Cowboys back to Earth after a shock 4-1 start without Dak Prescott.
Galen Hurts and his cohorts jumped to a 20-0 lead in the first half. The Eagles’ defense intercepted Copper Rush three times and could have had more. The Cowboys quarterback completed just 47.3 percent of his passes.
Although Dallas tried to close in late, Philadelphia easily pulled out of range to win 26-17 and made sure the rest of the NFL took notice.

Hurst finished two touchdowns and 155 yards. However, the offensive line’s fears may have surfaced with four sacks.
Philadelphia is heading into a farewell week, so they’ll stay undefeated for at least the next week. They will face the Steelers at the end of October.
While they may surprise over the next month or so, they will likely be favorites in their next four games against Pittsburgh, Houston, Washington and Indianapolis.
With strong defense and strong attack, they can be prepared for the long term. However, they will face greater tests in the future.
The Cowboys got a wake-up call in the middle with Rush looking like the backup he is. Fortunately, Dak Prescott may be back from injury soon. However, his status is still unknown. Dallas is definitely more eager to get him back on the court today than he was yesterday.
Their next four matches will be tough with the Lions, Bears, Packers and Vikings coming in.
