MLB’s mistakes continue this season with the ALDS disaster at Yankee Stadium

In a season that began with a shutdown, the last misstep surrounding Game 5 of ALDS at Yankee Stadium proved that MLB doesn’t understand it when it comes to fans.

There are a lot of New York Yankees fans this morning angry at Monday night. Not because their team lost, but because they gave their time and money to attend a post-season game and then kept on knowing if the match was going to be played. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t.

MLB showed on Monday that fans don’t matter

Imagine you’ve been sitting inside Yankee Stadium for over four hours and not knowing what’s to come. Well, that’s exactly what a lot of Yankees fans did on Monday night.

How is there no connection? It’s baffling…until you consider it MLB, the same organization with the commissioner who referred to the World Championship Cup Like a “big piece of metal” And the Laugh when I announce The 2022 season will not start on time due to the closure.

Oh, about those fans? Sorry for those of you who bought a beer or two while waiting on Monday night. You do not get a refund.

Can’t you make a rescheduled Tuesday afternoon game? Sorry, No refunds on tickets.

Are you abroad and want to watch the matches? we will, Good luck with that. Whoops, didn’t he mention that before starting postseason? It’s hard to believe, given how consistent MLB policy has been with fans in the US during the season.

Sure, it’s understandable that weather is unpredictable, but you have the decency to let people know what’s going on. If they’re going to invest time and resources in your product, shouldn’t you have the courtesy to provide at least an update sometime during a three-hour window?

And don’t get me started How bad is this ALDS schedule managedNow the Game 5 winner is forced to turn around and head to Houston to face the Astros, who are well rested on Wednesday night.

How often do MLB fans have to be reminded that they are far from the food chain? Apparently, MLB needed to send another reminder on Monday night.
