In a season that began with a shutdown, the last misstep surrounding Game 5 of ALDS at Yankee Stadium proved that MLB doesn’t understand it when it comes to fans.
There are a lot of New York Yankees fans this morning angry at Monday night. Not because their team lost, but because they gave their time and money to attend a post-season game and then kept on knowing if the match was going to be played. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t.

Sure, it’s understandable that weather is unpredictable, but you have the decency to let people know what’s going on. If they’re going to invest time and resources in your product, shouldn’t you have the courtesy to provide at least an update sometime during a three-hour window?
