Watch Kyle Schwarber’s 488ft Home Run From Every Corner (Video)

Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber struck one of the toughest home kicks in the Statcast era, and it came in a key post-season moment against the Padres.

The Phillies are not a team to kill their opponent by cutting paper. If they contact, the odds are that the ball will travel very long distances.

Philadelphia’s first two NLCS runs came on individual home runs. The first, by Bryce HarperI could hardly reach the seats on a ball as deep as the moon. The second, by Schwarber, broke the post-season record.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Bassan, Schwarber’s home run was the fifth toughest home run in the Statcast era. This was the worst hit in post-season history since that era began in 2015 as well. It’s also the longest home run in Petco Park history (488 feet) and the second longest home run in the Statcast era only for Willson Contreras’ blast of 491 feet in 2017.

Phillies: Kyle Schwarber’s house runs from all angles

Schwarber’s home run from a fan’s point of view is totally insane, since you can’t even see where the ball lands.

Teammate Bryce Harper’s reaction said it all – as all he could muster was his mouth. Harper was completely speechless, as Schwarper’s bat’s voice was speaking.

Ken Rosenthal met Schwarber after his departure home. Apparently, the swing “felt good”. do not say that?

Schwarber clearly had a great batting practice session heading into the series. Of all the Philadelphia hitters, Schwarber was still waiting for the post-season moment.

It’s safe to say he owns it now.

The 29-year-old was attacked by his teammates while on his way back to the dugout.

Are we sure this guy is a human? The rare combination of out speed and power is rarely seen in his swing, even on the coolest stages.
