Entering Week 7, the Arizona Cardinals needed a win, as they were only 2-4 on the season. This is one year of qualifying time. Fortunately for them, they have faced the New Orleans Saints who are also suffering.
During the Thursday night football game, the Cardinals called for a timeout. That was when Amazon Prime video cameras caught quarterback Keeler Murray screaming at coach Cliff Kingsbury. What exactly did Murray say?

By lip-reading, Murray shouted four words toward Kingsbury. They were “calm damned”.
On that particular trip, the Cardinals were 14-6 behind. But they were able to tie the match up on a two-yard ground run by Keontay Ingram and a successful two-point conversion in a row by Eno Benjamin. Then in New Orleans’ next two drives, Arizona scored two touchdowns in the form of a six-throw pick by quarterback Andy Dalton.
The Cardinal ended up winning 42-34.
After the match, Murray played down the argument with Kingsbury, saying he was asking him to “relax”.
“He’s a real mover out there on the sidelines sometimes,” said Murray. H/R Doug Haller of The Athletic. “It’s…” Calm down, we’re fine. We will correct it. It ended up being signed up, so that was fine, but that’s all I was saying. Just calm down.”
Kingsbury also played down the importance of the heated interaction with the midfielder.
“It was just one of those things on the field. We had a difference of opinion,” Kingsbury, H/R Grant Gordon of NFL.com said. So, do not know. It’s a Generation Z thing on TV, ‘Calm Down’, but I like showing emotion.”
Murray completed 20 of 29 pass attempts for 204 yards and one touchdown, while running for 30 yards on seven carts.
The Cardinals walked away with a win, as they now prepare for their week eight showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
