“Top Gun: Maverick” actor and super fan of Philadelphia Phillies Myles Teller lost out when his favorite team took the lead over the San Diego Padres in Game 3 of the NLCS.
The Philadelphia Phillies left San Diego tied 1-1 in the National League Championship against Padres. But now, they can play three games in a row in Philadelphia, where they hope to be able to win their first NL title since 2009.
The third game of the NLCS was a must-have for Phillies fans. This included “Top Gun: Maverick” actor Miles Teller, who sat on field level in the major competition.
With a 1-1 tie at the bottom of the fourth inning, second hitter Jean Segura climbed into hitter territory with Alec Bohm and Bryson Stott at the base. On the 1-2 field, Segura sent a Joe Musgrove volley into the right court for a single goal that brought Bohm and Stutt home to give Philadelphia a 3-1 lead.

Tyler was also seen walking down the stairs to his seat and waving a red Phyllis towel.
The Phillies reached post-season for the first time since 2011. In that period, they swept the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card series. Then, in the Division Series, they defeated their rivals and world champion Atlanta Braves in four matches. Entering Game 3, they were just three wins away from returning to Fall Classic.
Teller goes through all the emotion through NLCS, and it just so happens that there are a lot of good things going on with the Phillies in Game 3.
