After the loss to the Bears, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick received criticism from a former Patriots and All Pro player.
Monday night was absolutely horrific for the New England Patriots, and Bill Belichick had a big part in the disaster against the Bears.
As such, it is called. But one name, in particular, appeared and took a shot – former Patriots cornerback Ashanti Samuel, who does not have a good reputation with his former coach.
Samuel tweeted what his former coach looks like without former quarterback Tom Brady, the player Samuel did his best to defend at every opportunity, impressively, we might add.
However, Samuel’s words were not appreciated by many, including Patriots fans and former teammate Teddy Bruschi, who called the comment ridiculous.

No one in New England will forget what happened the night of Super Bowl XLII, where Asante Samuel could have intercepted one last pass that would have saved the 19-0 season and possibly his relationship with Bill Belichick. Instead, it wasn’t meant to be.
However, Patriots are easy to get now. Putting the quarterback in a dilemma, and at this point, there’s no definitive answer as to whether Mac Jones or Billy Zappie is the man under center for the foreseeable future. If you have two quarterbacks, you won’t have either, as the saying goes.
Having said that, the Patriots didn’t need Asante Samuel to tell them it was a problem, and taking a shot at Bill Belichick doesn’t help matters either, even if Samuel is right. It will be interesting to see how things unfold in New England over the coming days and the rest of the season.
