The Atlanta Braves are not playing in the 2022 World Championships, but there are some free agent targets they can pursue to feature in the games.

The 2022 World Championship did not turn out to be a repeat of the 2021 Championship round between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves. We only got half a repetition as the Philadelphia Phillies held off the Braves this time.

While Braves fans are at home watching the World Series tournament unfold, the front office can start looking at some free-for-all future customers from both the Astros and Phillies to target.

Both clubs have players who could fit in well in Atlanta. The two clubs should look forward to these three free agents from the World Championships.

1) Free Brave Agent Goal of the World Championship: David Robertson

David Robertson remains a passionate and talented marksman. The Phillies acquired it on Deadline Trade from the Chicago Cubs in what turned out to be a beautiful addition to them. The brave, with some of their own needs in bulls to meet this winter, should consider it an option.

Atlanta has a few questions nearby. Kenley Jansen is a free agent but not someone who has done well enough to auto-resign. They have Raisel Iglesias under contract for a few more seasons. Is it the answer to them?

Robertson can give the brave a few things. He brings with him a lot of in-between experience and two distinct roles he can play.

The Braves could hold on to Iglesias the closer they got and make Robertson a dangerous man in their position. Or they may have moved Iglesias and allowed Robertson to close matches. We can even see them go to a competition in the season if they are unable to determine the best savior for the ninth.
