Ashton ‘H2O’ Sylve scored in the first round of knockout for Braulio Rodriguez while serving as the co-main event for Jake Paul against Anderson Silva.
As the co-main event of the Jake Paul vs. Self, who is from Long Beach, California, also signed Paul’s most valuable offers.
Rodriguez came off aggressive in the first round as he tried to put pressure on young Self, who removed months from attending the HS Prom. Showing some patience and proportions, Self saw the pressure and was able to counter Rodriguez’s aggressive tactic with a few precise blows. When Rodriguez was coming, Self landed with a perfect reverse left hook, which shook Rodriguez and led to the knockout blow. Self tried to get up, but the referee called the fight appropriately, and it was the right decision as Rodriguez got back to the ground right after that.
Self earned a first-round knockout win in order to get the crowd ready for the main event, as the bottom card fights were disappointing.
