10. MLB Power Rankings: Los Angeles Angels
How much do Los Angeles Angels need to win the 2023 World Championship? They only finished at number ten because no one really expected them to. Although hiring Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout for the past several seasons, they’ve been a regular team in their best season.
This football club’s desperation for winning it all in 2023 lies in how much they invested in the roster and how little they managed to get out of it. It’s really amazing how the Chicago White Sox managed to finish 81-81 last year. They were able to capture and pass the Minnesota Twins in the section. Unfortunately, the Cleveland Guardians blew both of them and won the post-season tour.
The White Sox is feeling some despair about not being successful with a young roster full of talented stars. We have seen a couple of players take unintended “years of rest” from doing well in 2022. Now that they are left out of the Tony La Russa era, we hope things will improve for this football club.
The last time the White Sox won a championship was in 2005 and it’s a lifetime for many young fans. After all those deals they made several years ago involving players like Chris Sale, Adam Eaton and others, what should they show in exchange for that? Nothing yet.
