It turns out there’s really no bottom line when it comes to how low Dan Snyder has fallen after the pathetic reveal of Sean Taylor’s “bust.”
Today was the day the Washington leaders revealed their tribute to Sean Taylor, a moment when even for a franchise with an almost undefeated ability to burp all over itself while bent over in a chair seemed hard to fathom.
Never doubt how low Dan Snyder will go, though.
Instead of unveiling a tribute to the late NFL star, who to this day remains one of the most beloved players in franchise history, the Captains made yet another uncertain effort confirming an enduring theory that no one in the building is capable of anything more than disappointing. Absolute hope.
In fact, the leaders did not reveal a law at all. Instead, they revealed that the “statue” was nothing more than a wired mannequin in a glass case dressed as Taylor.
Instead of an actual statue or actual tribute, Synder went with something that could have been lifted from the team store.

NFL fans and the media were excited by their reaction to the statue. It takes a lot for fans and the media to universally agree on something in the world of football, but Sneijder managed to bring everyone together to take him on a mission about how ashamed he must feel to brush Taylor’s legacy aside like he did.
No one really thought the statue was any less than Snyder who was basically spitting on Taylor’s grave while doing a Jordan snub.
The reveal of the Sean Taylor bust is another low point for a franchise that seems unable to be respectful and equally unrelenting in its quest to discover where the bottom is.
