Odell Beckham Jr. Meets Three Teams Before Free Agent Decision

With Odell Beckham Jr rumors circulating, the free agent Pro Bowler has scheduled dates to meet with a select group of suitors.

With the NFL entering its main season, one of the biggest questions lurking in the rumor mill is about to get an answer.

Odell Beckham Jr. has been a free agent since his league year began in March, in large part due to his recovery from an ACL tear he suffered in the Super Bowl. No one was in a rush to sign OBJ, but he wasn’t in a rush to sign a team either before they determined their chances of making it back to the Super Bowl stage.

It may not have been easy to wait, but it was the right decision. The list of teams rumored to be interested in adding Beckham this season has fallen off the map as the league’s top contenders.

The Packers and Rams are basically out of contention going into the final game, and the Pirates aren’t far behind. Instead, the Eagles and Vikings run off with the top two seeds in the NFC and look like the teams to beat in the conference.

In the AFC, the Buffalo Bills are still a powerhouse but they have been bitten badly by injury and no longer control the top seed. But where we are now on the other side of Thanksgiving, the state of the land is becoming clearer and OBJ seems to be getting closer to finally making a decision.

Odell Beckham Jr. will meet the potential finalists this week

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Odell Beckham Jr appears to have booked himself into the list of finalists he was willing to sign and is now putting the ball in their court when it comes to recruiting him.

These teams are the Cowboys, Chiefs, and Giants.

Sources familiar with his plans say: “Beckham plans to visit the Giants on Thursday and Friday.” After the weekend, Beckham will meet the Cowboys on Dec. 5. He will also visit the Bells, ”Rapoport mentioned.
