A pair of famous heavyweights are set to face off in the main event of UFC Orlando in what is arguably a must win for either of them.
This main event will see former title challenger and longtime welterweight contender Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson take on Kevin Holland.
Although Thompson is tied with Jeff Neal for sixth in the UFC welterweight rankings going into this bout, he has lost four out of six bouts he has fought since 2018. He entered this fight in two losing bouts, falling unanimous decisions to both Gilbert Burns and Bilal Muhammad. last year.
Kevin Holland has captured his eyes and hearts with his five wins in 2020 (tied for the most of any calendar year in UFC history) and his seven fights between May 2020 and April 2021 (the most of any UFC fighter ever). But things are not the same since the beginning of 2021, as he lost to Derek Bronson and Marvin Vettori before having a match with Kyle Dukas.
