The Week 16 NFL Christmas roster concludes tonight when the LA Chargers head to Indianapolis to take on the Colts in search of some serious answers.
Indy has lost four straight games, and while his struggles aren’t particularly surprising considering the entire season, it highlights how the Colts have lost their last two games, with complete defensive breakdowns in the final quarter.
As for the Chargers, they’re finally starting to look more and more like the team with high preseason expectations, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Deon Jackson over 7.5 rushing attempts
The narrative running around the Colts at the moment is that Zack Moss will be the starting linebacker, with Jackson filling in in passing as well as change-up opportunities.
I’m not particularly sold on Zack Moss and his 3.7 YPC as a worthy primary running back, but given how bad the Chargers have fared, I think both running backs could thrive in this evening’s game.
Jackson has shown much more explosiveness than his teammate and has nearly doubled his number of quick tries from a week ago. The market may vary, as less than juicy is extreme, but given Nick Foles taking over from Matt Ryan and the Colts’ penchant for being heavy, Jackson could end up as the hot hand and we’re making huge profits.
Paris Campbell over 30.5 receiving yards
The aforementioned Foles, like his teammate Matt Ryan, is a pocket statue. With the Charge pass rush waking up throughout the season, Campbell provides the veteran caller with a reliable offload option and screen goal for big yards after the catch.
Despite failing to reach that figure in two of his last three matches, Campbell had previously cleared him in five of his six matches.

Justin Herbert Over 8.5 rushing yards
Herbert fell short of that milestone in last week’s win against the Tennessee Titans, but he’s an energetic runner who’s going up against a Colts defense that fell apart in several fourth quarters, and could easily snap if they find themselves trailing.
Prior to last week, Herbert had run at least four times in five straight weeks, passing 8.5 yards in three of them, while the other two finished with 7 and 8 yards on the ground, respectively.
Indianapolis ranks in the middle of the pack in rushing yards and attempted quarterbacks this year. I think he can clear that number in one game if he opens up the middle of the field.
