Best Bets for Cowboys vs. Titans Thursday Night Football (Dak Prescott Gears Up for Big Game)

The Dallas Cowboys are still in the hunt for the NFC East while the Tennessee Titans try to take back the AFC South tag team crown two weeks ago.

The two hopefuls for the teams will face off in the final edition of Thursday Night Football for the 2022 season.

The Titans are dealing with a slew of injuries, and now they’re opting for starting third quarterback, Joshua Dobbs, over rookie Malik Willis.

The Cowboys enter the game as double-digit favorites over their hometown Titans.

If the point difference is too big for you, maybe you should pay attention to some player props instead. If you’re looking for a little less, I’ve got you covered.

Let’s dive into my three favorite gadgets for players in the latest edition of Thursday Night Football.

Best NFL bets on Cowboys vs. Texans

  • Dak Prescott over 234.5 yards
  • Haskins has over 49.5 yards rushing
  • Trevon Diggs to record a +400 interception

Dak Prescott over 230.5 yards

Dak Prescott should be licking his lips in the game against him on Thursday night. The Titans have allowed opposing quarterbacks an average of 7.5 yards per throw against them over their last three games, and they’re also giving up a total average of 279.6 passing yards per game this season, second-most in the NFL.

Prescott averages 245 yards passing per game in 2022, well above his pass total tonight. Unless the Cowboys win so much that they bench Prescott in the first half to rest him, I can’t see how he doesn’t get past that total tonight.

Haskins has over 49.5 yards rushing

The fact that the Titans are picking Joshua Dobbs at quarterback tonight tells me they’re going to be banking on the running game. With Derrick Henry doubting the match, Hassan Haskins is the next man.

He’s got a good game ahead of him, too. The Cowboys rank 20th in the NFL in opposition yards per carry. Their inability to stop runs is their defense’s weakness, and as long as Haskins gets carries, he should be well positioned to account for at least 50 yards on the ground tonight.

Trevon Diggs to record a +400 interception

Trayvon Diggs and the High School Cowboys will face a third-string quarterback tonight, which means they’ll be looking for turnovers the entire game. Trayvon Diggs is known to be a ball hawk. He likes to bait the quarterback on making throws, and then jump on them.

This strategy has come back to haunt him against an NFL quarterback who doesn’t fall for his gimmicks, but he might be able to pull it off against a guy like Dobbs.

At +400, I think it’s worth a splash.
