Kenny Pickett keeping the Steelers alive by beating the Ravens: The best memes and tweets

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still alive in playoff play, thanks in part to the recent heroic drive of rookie Kenny Pickett leading the team to a 16-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Remember when the Pittsburgh Steelers were 2-6 on the year and fans weren’t exactly sold on rookie Kenny Pickett as the quarterback of the future? A lot can change in the course of eight weeks in the NFL. Now, the Steelers are entering the final week of the season with a chance to make the playoffs.

In Week 17, the Steelers defeated the rival Baltimore Ravens 16–13 after a heroic finishing drive by Pickett, who survived a sack on third-and-eight and completed a pass to running back Nagy Harris in the end zone to win the game. 10 yard drop.

This is now Pickett’s second game-winning drive in two weeks, as he did the same in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Twitter users have been offering their props to the rookie, who is growing into a quarterback for the Steelers. Not only that, but he praised the team as a whole for pulling off another win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Twitter praises Steelers’ Kenny Pickett for his game-winning drive vs. the Ravens.

NBC commentator Chris Collinsworth was so impressed with Pickett’s pass to Harris that, “If Patrick Mahomes had made that play, we’d put him in the Hall of Fame.”

Pickett finished off that drive completing 5 of 6 pass attempts for 64 yards and the aforementioned touchdown pass to Harris. He finished the game completing 15 of 27 passes for 168 yards and 1 touchdown.

Speaking of Harris, the sophomore running back performed admirably, running for 111 yards on 22 carries. He caught two passes for 12 yards on three targets.

For what the Steelers need to happen in Week 18, they’ll need to defeat the Cleveland Browns. Not only that, but they also need the Buffalo Bills to beat the New England Patriots and the New York Jets to beat the Miami Dolphins. If those three results become true next week, Pittsburgh will be in the playoffs for the third year in a row.

The Steelers gave their fanbase a lot of hope not only for the last week of the season, but also for the foreseeable future, thanks in part to another clutch game by Pickett.
