Invoicing statement on Tuesday

The Buffalo Bills released a minor status update for Damar Hamlin on Tuesday afternoon.

Dammar Hamlin was hospitalized Monday night after a collision with Bengals wide receiver Ty Higgins.

Hamlin has remained in critical condition since his arrival at the University of Cincinnati Medical Hospital. The Bills safety was given approximately 10 minutes of CPR on the field, and was surrounded by teammates to block the view of ESPN’s Monday Night Football cameras.

The former University of Pittsburgh has emerged as a major contributor to the Bills minor leagues. As a sixth round pick, he exceeded expectations on the field.

As for the game itself, the league also announced Tuesday afternoon that the Bills vs Bengals likely won’t resume this week, as the main concern is Hamlin’s health.

Dame Hamlin update: The Bills release a statement regarding his health

The Bills released a statement regarding Hamlin’s health Tuesday afternoon. While the update didn’t include a ton of new information, any is good news in that regard, especially as the NFL world fears the worst:

Damar Hamlin spent last night in the intensive care unit and remains there today in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We are grateful and thankful for the outpouring of support we have received so far.”

He made the NFL Mental health support Resources available not only to all the players who were on the field Monday night, but to all 32 teams. The league is a strong fraternity, and even those who may not know Hamlin are affected in one way or another.

Monday’s incident is always the worst-case scenario and fear for all the players on the field and anyone close to them.

We can only hope Hamlin recovers from this traumatic accident. It is in our thoughts.
