What happened previously on Dr. Stone?
While testing the steamboat, Senku, Gen, Ukyo, Ryusui and Chrome discover an unknown anomaly which they dub “Why-man”. The “Five Generals” discuss the petrification events from start to finish and conclude that Why-Man is most likely an enemy, as it stopped sending signals when Senku tried to make contact. After using his scientific knowledge and doing some tests, he came up with a new invention called “Radar”.
While testing the sea, the five generals locate an abundance of fish using their newly invented sonar and radar. In the next scene, Senku explains the need for a motor-generator to improve the radar output, but they have required too much steel and oil, and iron supplies are dwindling. Chromium experimented with radar and detected a strong signal in the cave’s fault. He shares the good news with Senku, who turns the radar into a metal detector and leads the group to a large iron deposit. They soon established a mine, and Senco began building the kingdom’s distribution network, starting with asphalt paved roads and railroad mine cars.
