Before Jordan Davis heard his name in the NFL draft in late April, he celebrated his status as the Georgia Bulldogs legend once again.
Davis ran a 4.78 40-yard dash for the NFL scouts, proving time and time again that he’s a nature freak. Expected to be a first-round pick in just a few weeks, he was once again honored for his performance in a national championship winning season in Georgia.
This time, Davis threw the first pitch in the Atlanta Braves game. Although his talents were soon transferred elsewhere, Davis would always represent the state of Georgia, especially Athens. The title of “National Hero” is not something he can take away from you.
Given his athletic achievements, we shouldn’t be surprised that Davis’ first throw was a perfect shot.
Georgia Football: Jordan Davis Joins Broadcast Braeves
Davis joined the Bally Sports broadcast to discuss what the tournament means for Georgia fans and the state as a whole. It’s been a busy year for sports fans in Georgia, with the Braves and UGA taking home titles.
“Dawg Nation hugged me with open arms. For that, I am forever grateful,” Davis said. “This is something that no one can take away from us. We are legendary forever. So we love you to all members of Dawg Nation.”
During the Bulldog National Championship Show, Davis famously removed his shirt to reveal Braves’ shirt. Therefore, this celebration was long.
