In the match where the wire fell, we all felt that the team that got the ball at the end would win. The Boston team decided not to call the timeout before their final possession and it worked out beautifully. Tatum pulled the edge over and pushed the Celtics past the net with this stunning bell shot. Boston took the first game 115-114 on Easter Sunday.

That’s huge for the Celtics as they were able to keep their serve across the Nets team. While the Celtics are second in the Eastern Conference playoffs, Brooklyn may be the most dangerous No. 7 seed in NBA playoff history. With the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and likely Ben Simmons to make his team debut soon, the Nets are going to be very tough.
Tatum’s late tournaments made sure the Celtics didn’t drop their first home game.
