While the Texas A&M baseball team hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks, Nathan Dettmer displays some great leadership skills.
The Texas A&M baseball team was able to put up a good fight against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Nathan Dettmer’s incredible catch is part of this impressive effort.
At the top of the fourth inning, Detmer made this catch that almost certainly saved him from some bruised ribs and a lot of pain.
This is one heck of a catch out there. Just incredible.
Dettmer would probably be glad he figured it out for a number of different reasons, arguably the most important of which was that he somehow didn’t hit the screeching line motor that was apparently aimed at him.

And of course, Aggies on Twitter was beaming with the play, which is perfectly reasonable. Things like this don’t happen every day and it’s definitely something to celebrate.
And yes, if he didn’t, his ribs would definitely be unhappy.
There is no way to bribe with the kind of drive that will please anyone.
And this kind of magical nonsense is all happening as the Aggies find a way to give Arkansas one fight. While the Razorbacks are one of the best teams in college baseball this year, Texas A&M is hard to beat right now. Jim Schlossnagle has moved this team in the right direction and they have proven to be a tough opponent.
The Aggies are currently leading 2-1 at the bottom of the sixth inning. There’s still plenty of time left and a lot of things can change quickly, but that’s a pretty solid situation for Aggies.
