Minnesota Vikings Adam Tillen feels “refreshed” when he returns to his OTA side after an ankle injury kept him sidelined at the end of last season.
In a sense, Minnesota-based Vikings wide receiver Adam Tillen is looking for a “fresh start” — or a “refreshed start,” for that matter.
Thielen isn’t planning on leaving his hometown team anytime soon, especially not in his 10th season with the Vikings. But Thielen is feeling “refreshed” and “energized” as he starts again in the OTAs this summer, excited to rejoin the field after being sidelined with an ankle injury last December.
Tylen battled through ankle pain to play in their Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams, resulting in a severe injury that required surgery. But Thelin is feeling energized as June approaches, expecting to be a decade of Vikings attacking pillars.
The wide receiver said in an interview with Fox 9 Minneapolis St. pee. “It just makes being here and working so exciting.”

Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, will turn 32 before the NFL season begins, but Thelin doesn’t seem to be concerned about playing during his early thirties. After ankle surgery, “Thielen feels young again.”
“[The ankle] “It’s great, it feels so good to be here and feel young again, fresh, and not worrying about my ankles,” said Thelin. “Not being there, it’s hard. … I don’t take my acting here for granted, because who knows when I’ll finish and he won’t be able to play this game anymore.”
The vaunted tight finish was on track for the first 1000-yard season since 2018 before the injury occurred, in NFL.com. Instead, Thielen played 13 games and managed 726 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2021 season.
Thielen is also energized by the fact that he will be working with a new player this year for Kevin O’Connell, the former Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator who led the team to a Super Bowl victory.
When you hear about the news [O’Connell being named head coach]You kind of look back at the log and then look at what [the Rams] I did, and you’re excited, right? ‘ said Thelin.
“But then you get in here, you start learning the system and you start getting into the field — really, when you get into the field and you start running through things, you’re like a guy, that’s fun. That’s exciting.”
“When I’m talking about a breath of fresh air and some kind of rejuvenation, it’s because when you get out here, it feels like things make sense and are exciting.”
