With June half way around the corner, there are still some huge series left to play before all is said and done.
It’s June 13 and the Yankees at AL East and the Astros at AL West are the only two leaders to have a comfortable lead from distance in their respective divisions.
At AL Central, the Twins only outperformed the surprisingly strong Cleveland Guardians three games. In the NL East, the Mets outperform the Braves by five and a half games. At NL Central, the Cardinals lead the Milwaukee Brewers brawl by only half a game. Same for the Dodgers over the Padres at NL West.
Even though June is almost over, there are some huge upcoming MLB series that you won’t want to miss seeing live.

5. Houston Astros at New York Yankees, June 23-26
This series between the Astros and number one Yankees will be the TV to watch. The Yankees are the best baseball team so far this year (44-16 record .733 win percentage) and the Astros aren’t far behind (37-23 record .617 win percentage).
In this group of four matches between these two giants, Justin Verlander and Luis Garcia should see a start in the Houston series and Gerrit Cole and Nestor Curtis should see a start as well. While this should totally lock down the duel of bowlers, both clubs have incredible fouls so these four matches can go either way.
For beginner Yankees, their ERAs read as: 3.63, 2.80, 2.70, 2.93, 1.96. Each pitcher in his crew is able to perform a lights-out performance each time he takes the heap.
In terms of attacking, the Bronx Bombers have lived up to their title so much that Aaron Judge suddenly becomes one of the best players in the game. Judge (!!) already has 24 home runs with a batting average of 0.318 and 0.686 idling and will show his imposing and powerful swing in full at the end of June against Houston.
While the Astros have a great pitching staff, most of their firepower comes from their attack. Jose Altuve, Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez all combined to wreak havoc on opposing shooters while Justin Verlander hit a whole new level this year, scoring 1.94 ERAs with 78 strikes and 15 walks in 78+ runs.
