Who does Number 2 In employment employment? That would be Ryan’s day in Ohio. Whether Ohio State is used by would-be college athletes to get more from other schools, to Knowles running a “strange, non-NFL-oriented scheme,” it’s hard to believe this team could even compete for a national title…
And, of course, the Buckeyes won’t go any further than Knowles’ defense this season. The offense should be amazing, as quarterback CJ Stroud could be the first player to be selected in the 2023 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman Cup. Stroud may have lost Chris Olaf and Garrett Wilson in the NFL, but he still has Jackson Smith-Nigeba, among others, to throw the football in.
Ultimately, anything short of a Big Ten title and emergence of the National Championship game should be considered a failure for this team. Ohio State may not be able to beat both Alabama and Georgia respectively to win the College Football Playoff, but they are one of the three teams with the best chance of winning it all. Expectations couldn’t be higher than they are today in his fourth season.
Buckeyes fans will be quick to point out the defense if Ohio State isn’t able to achieve all of its goals.
