Nate Diaz beats Tony Ferguson with extreme submission (video)

Nate Diaz bests Tony Ferguson with Diaz’s wild and grotesque submission.

The fight that wasn’t supposed to happen, happened and the boy was amazing.

They touch the gloves to start the fight, which is a huge sign of respect after a main post full of beef.

They came out of their corners swinging, Diaz was the starting aggressor but soon after, Ferguson started to back up the fight. Diaz checked early on with a kick by Ferguson which opened a large wound on his leg, causing some concern. The tour was a bit unruly and sloppy but the crowd absolutely loved every minute of it.

The second round started from five rounds and was a repeat of the first round. Wild swing kicks and kicks. At some point in the second round, Ferguson had a cut in the face. He seemed to be trying to shake off Diaz’s blows and was able to hit back a few times but overall it was a win for Diaz.

In the third round they both seemed to pause for a moment, with Diaz even turning his back on Ferguson as he shook hands. Ferguson went to the plate in an attempt to start a wild battle but Diaz didn’t take the bait. At one point, Diaz landed in a wave and then bent over the cage casually. It was insanely weird and totally normal to fight Diaz. Diaz paused again, turned his back to Ferguson, and spoke to the people in the seats around the cage. Once again, a clear win for Diaz.

In the fourth round, they came out swinging again. Ferguson tried to go on a takedown and failed miserably. Diaz shook again and fell on the canvas and from below, Diaz choked Ferguson. The octagonal men hugged, showing great respect.

Official score: Nate Diaz defeats Tony Ferguson by submission (guillotine), Round 4 – 2:52

Nate Diaz was supposed to fight Chimaev’s Punks

Diaz was supposed to fight Chemayev’s pitfalls in the main event but Chemayev weighed 7.5 pounds over the limit, forcing Diaz to refuse to fight. In a desperate struggle to keep both men on the card, the UFC made an epic change and Tony Ferguson stepped in to confront Diaz and Kevin Holland stepped in to fight Shemayev. In addition, Li Jingliang fought against Daniel Rodriguez.

Arguably the fans got a better card than her.
