Mets broadcast appears to shine light on Ozzie Albies injury (video)

Atlanta Braves fans won’t like the way the New York Mets broadcast handled Ozzy Albis’ recent injury.

It looks like Ozzie Albies has just returned to the Atlanta Braves squad after coming back from a broken foot. Just as Braves fans were excited to get one of the key pieces back in the lineup, it looks like his season is over after he broke his right pinky finger in Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Just to set the table here: Albiz broke his finger in a match between the Braves and the Velez. The New York Mets Not Absolutely involved, at least until they get themselves into the narrative thanks to the broadcast team.

Mets announcers spoke about Albis’ recent injury with a comment that highlighted the situation.

The Braves and Mets are vying for the top spot in the NL East this season, with three matches remaining against each other at the end of the month.

Needless to say, Braves and Mets fans don’t need much of a needle to stalk each other, and Alpez comments on the coals that sparked a fierce backlash on social media.

Brave fans react to Mets announcer’s comment about Ozzy Albis

One fan stated that they had “lost all respect” for the announcer for his comment “which no longer comes from his pocket”.

Another shared their dislike, writing, “Cohen is nothing more than a fan in the booth and an overrated announcer too.”

One defended the player and fan base, saying, “It was great to have him back, not our fault, it only lasted for a day…”

Another thought they were unprofessional announcers, noting that “they seem to have picked up two random people from the street.”

With the Braves on the verge of winning the score, it’s understandable why pit fans were so angry at their rivals. We hope Albies recovers quickly.
