Aaron Judge’s reaction was modest to his 60th home defeat of the season on Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
It was a quiet night for New York Yankees fans and the team as a whole on Tuesday. At the bottom of the ninth inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Judge took his 60th home run of the season, a single shot, to put him away from legend Roger Maris’s number one per season 61.
To make things even more awesome, Judge made a comeback. The Yankees won a Grand Slam 9-8 by Giancarlo Stanton after trailing 8-5 after Homer judge.
After the match, Judge was asked about reaching the 60 homer mark of the season. The judge spoke about how much he dreamed of playing at Yankee Stadium on the first-place team.

The judge also joked that he wished he’d hit Homer earlier in the game when the rules were loaded.
Judge’s season is nothing short of fantastic. He is set to become a free agent this season, as he and the Yankees were unable to reach an agreement on a new deal before the season opener. Now, not only is he on the verge of breaking Maris’ one-season home record in the AL, but he could snatch the Triple Crown, a feat not accomplished since Miguel Cabrera did it back in 2012!
After the Yankees beat the Pirates, Judge AL leads in runs (60), hitting (128), and hitting average (.316).
Make no mistake about it, Yankees games are a must-watch from now on, as you get a chance to see the judge break the one-season home record. That could happen in a Wednesday night team game against the Buccaneers, or an upcoming four-game match against the Boston Red Sox.
