Georgia needs to overcome the cobwebs and re-establish its dominance against Auburn

Football in Georgia can’t keep playing through cobwebs. It’s time to send a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission by hitting Auburn.

The first three weeks of the 2022 season made people think that Georgia could not be defeated. Kent and Missouri state revealed that this may not be entirely accurate.

Kent State never looked like it would really bother the Bulldog but it stayed a lot closer than anyone could have expected.

Then Missouri led Georgia until four minutes remained in the fourth quarter. Although the Tigers didn’t win, it was enough to drop UGA from number one in the AP and Coaches polls.

This week, just a win over Auburn won’t be enough. Bulldogs need to strangle them.

Georgia football can’t let Auburn hang out

Auburn is not a team that strikes fear into the hearts of Georgia fans or players. They blew a 17-point lead over LSU…and then again, they jumped to a 17-0 lead over LSU for the number one spot.

As rubbish fire as it sounds in Auburn, they are still the SEC team and will continue to see Georgia as an opportunity to make a statement.

Remember, Missouri lost to that Tigers team.

The Bulldogs are too good to keep getting in trouble with these less important opponents. One predictable clash game. Two are a concern. Three will be the direction.

It’s time for Kirby Smart to bring his team out of their misery. Show some pride. Act like heroes. Auburn wouldn’t stand a chance if Georgia didn’t give them a chance.

Honestly, it shouldn’t be difficult either. Tigers don’t have players or coaching staff to go toe-to-toe with Bulldogs.
