LSU football Twitter makes sure that Stephen A. Smith eats his words after beating Alabama

Stephen A. announced. Smith blasphemed that LSU wasn’t fond of Brian Kelly. After Alabama lost to LSU, the Tigers made the ESPN character eat the crow.

What’s wrong, Stephen A. Smith? Where is your video celebrating Alabama? Wasn’t it you who said LSU wasn’t in love with Brian Kelly?

He had already said it, and now the very frank character fell silent. LSU’s 32-31 win over Alabama, combined with the emotion Kelly displayed after the win, proves that what the commentator did was nothing more than blasphemy. The LSU Football Twitter account appears to be OK. Not only did they troll Smith, but they also trolled College Gameday.

Make no mistake. We know Smith is a staunch supporter of Alabama, and Smith will go so far as to defend them at all costs and make excuses when things go wrong. After all, he said several times this year that Alabama would “blow up” its opponents.

See Texas, which was a tough escape. Texas A&M this year? Same thing, wrong prediction despite little victory. Tennessee? Look at the previous two, this was only a field goal loss, then Smith invited fellow character Paul Feinbaum to swing with the volunteers the next time they met at First Take, only to back off upon realizing that Finebaum was out of Tennessee, thus validating his enjoyment. Finebaum in collapse.

LSU Football makes Stephen A. Smith eats a crow after tigers overturn Alabama

This isn’t the first time Stephen A. something like this. Few in Baton Rouge will remember how Smith picked Alabama right before the game in Tuscaloosa during the National Championship season and said it was impossible for the Tigers to win. LSU, of course, won thanks to Joe Burrow and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

The national championship was the same story. Pressured to pick Clemson due to his past choosing Alabama to beat Clemson (twice), Smith rolled the Orange Tigers against LSU, and the Bayou Bengals did so again, to the enjoyment of LSU graduates Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark.

It’s easy to pick a winner, especially if the winner is Alabama. It’s also easy to puff out your chest when the odds seem to stack up in your favor. But when it comes back to biting, you have to be prepared to take it, especially if you take it. That’s what Stephen A has to contend with, and the LSU Tigers are happy to get the Raven out.
