Here’s the team that wants to give Carlos Correa everything Dior they can buy

This team is expected to make the richest bid in their history to sign free agent Carlos Correa.

Last season, the Minnesota Twins made the move to sign former shortstop Carlos Correa from the Houston Astros to a three-year, $105.3 million contract, with an opt-out clause that could be exercised after each of the first two seasons. Corea shone his freshman year at Minnesota, and practiced pulling out. Prior to making this announcement, Correa had expressed his desire to stay in Minnesota, but used the analogy of “shopping at a Dior store” to say that they would need to pay him if they really wanted to.

While appearing on SKOR North’s “Mackey and Judd” showAccording to KTSP’s Darren Wolfson, the twins are expected to bring “the richest show in team history” to Korea.

“They are going to make him a very nice offer. In fact, I was told this week that they are pushing for closure sooner rather than later,” Wolfson said, h/t Sports Illustrated. “They will put on the richest show in team history.”

The twins are reportedly expected to make a rich offer to Carlos Correa

Wolfson notes that signing Correa could take between seven and nine years, at a value of between $265 and $300 million.

Correa was the last of the top shortstops available to sign with another team in the off-season. He then made the decision to sign the Twins to a three-year deal, which included two opt-out clauses.

291 batting average, .366 on base, .467 slugging percentage, 22 home runs, 64 RBI, 70 runs, and 152 hits in 136 games. The Twins finished with a 78-84 record and finished eight games out of a postseason berth.

Will the Twins be able to give Correa what he is looking for to re-sign with them? Or will there be another team that will convince Korea to sign their lucrative offer?
