OBJ Tweet leaves the door open for the Chiefs to sign

Odell Beckham Jr. left. The door is open for a solution to his free agency ending in Kansas City with the Chiefs in a tweet addressed to a fan this morning.

Reportedly, Odell Beckham Jr.’s search for a new team comes down to three teams that he plans to visit in person. That list includes the Giants and Cowboys, who were known as potential suitors for Beckham, and the Bills who have been speculatively linked but are now confirmed as a team to visit along with New York and Dallas.

Beckham was a teammate of Von Miller who signed with Orchard Park over the course of the season.

That doesn’t mean the chase is off and locked on those three teams, however, a sly tweet to a fan on Sunday suggested the right bid could bring the Chiefs back to it.

In response to a Chiefs fan’s tweet at OBJ to consider Kansas City, Beckham said the team is welcome to send him an offer, and then they can talk.

this is could Be indicative that Beckham only visits teams that have made him an offer that satisfies him, although it is not necessarily a confirmation. It was reported that Beckham received offers before Thanksgiving.

The Chiefs traded with the Giants to acquire receiver Kadarius Toney before the trade deadline, tempering excitement over the possibility of adding Beckham. However, Tony hasn’t completely changed the game, scoring just eight goals in three games with KC, and has yet to score a touchdown.

Although OBJ is a bit past his prime, he proved last year with the Los Angeles Rams that he can still contribute to a winning team, winning a Super Bowl with Los Angeles and contributing at a high level along the way. Beckham scored one of Los Angeles’ goals in the title match.
