Is CVS open on New Years Eve?

Headed to CVS for New Years Eve but not sure if it’s open?

New Year’s Eve can be a stressful time, and with so much going on, you might be missing out on something you might need. Maybe it’s getting drinks for a party, cleaning supplies to finally remove fruitcake stains from Christmas, or maybe you just ran out of food and need to get to the frozen food section.

The drugstore chain has a lot going for it, and because many of them open late, or even 24 hours a day, it’s a perfect place to stop by if you don’t have a chance to get somewhere else sooner. Especially on New Year’s Eve, when many other shops and restaurants close early. Lots of places monitor adjusted holiday hours, so if you’re running around and can’t find a spot open, CVS may be there for you.

There are many places that will be opening on New Year’s Eve, and luckily CVS will be one of them. So if you’re not close to Target or a grocery store, and need a few last-second items, CVS can be a great last-second option. Well that might be a good thing, as it won’t be as crowded as other chains, and it won’t take long to get in and out what you need.

Is CVS open on New Years Eve?

While many places, like Target, will open very late (9 p.m. for most locations), CVS won’t have any problems with its reduced hours. So if you are out at night after many other stores are closed they will keep their normal hours.

This means that if you’re near CVS for 24 hours and need something urgently, you’ll be able to stop there to get it.
