The 2022 NFL Draft is officially in the books. What are the biggest winners and losers after seven rounds of player selection?

It might seem silly to try to rank the NFL draft just hours after it was completed, but what fun waiting four years to see who ended up picking the best players from the 2022 class? There were plenty of top contenders for poor picks in the first round of the draft, who made headlines due to their bountiful trades and lack of star power at the quarterback.

Let’s take a quick look at the NFL and go section by section to sort out who has the best draw in the league. We will start from East Asia.

NFL Draft Score – East Asia

buffalo bills

The Bills made an early deal to grab Kaiir Elam in the first round, resulting in a weakness on the opposite side to rehabilitate Tre’Davious White in the corner. Declining James Cook in the second round provided good value for Buffalo, who didn’t get enough production from the Devin Singletary/Zack Moss platoon. The dismissal was nothing flashy but the billing addressed some basic needs, although the failure to add assistance to the interior of the offensive line was disappointing.

Miami Dolphin

Significantly, Tyreek Hill’s trade entered the draft Dolphins category, which drained first- and second-round picks to secure wide-star reception services. That made it surprising when Miami used their fourth-round choice on another receiver, Texas Tech’s Erik Enzukama, because it would be a deep cut and that choice would have gone to help in the trenches. Hill’s presence would be very important at the end of the day, but Dolphins didn’t do enough to maximize the choices they had left.

New England Patriots

The Patriots did a lot of trading, which isn’t surprising given their history in the draft, but Bill Belichick came up with both of his first picks. Guard Cole Strange is a great player that New England would likely have gotten into in the second round while wide receiver Tyquan Thornton is a limited burner with third-day scores on most draft charts. The choices made by New England were very targeted but the overall value of this category seemed to be lacking in relation to the number of choices that ended up being made.

New York Jets

Joe Douglas entered the draft with two top-10 picks and managed to leave with three of his top eight players on his board, using some of the additional assets he acquired to cash in on the sudden downfall of Florida State defensive end Jermaine Johnson. The trio of early rounds, which also included wide receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Ahmed “Sauce” Gardner, had a strong start to a draft that also saw the Jets add another weapon for Zach Wilson running back at Press Hall. These four players can all become beginners, making this game a home run for New York.
