While the New Orleans Pelicans seem to love each other, the same can’t be said of his Los Angeles Lakers teammates LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.
An NBA fan took a screenshot of the Lakers’ head on Twitter and compared it to the Pelicans. While it’s pretty cool and all the Lakers display all championship banners, The Pelicans shows off Its players sit next to each other and have fun while participating in the Summer Basketball League.
The Pelicans’ official Twitter account will quote a tweet taken by an NBA fan, “Yes, our players enjoy sitting next to each other instead of on opposite sides of the field.”
This is a live shot at the Lakers, like James and Westbrook sat on either side of the Thomas & Mac Center During the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

New Orleans has an interesting history with Los Angeles. While both teams famously agreed to the deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Lakers, they almost hatched another huge trade years ago. Unfortunately for the Lakers, the NBA intervened and Chris Paul went to the Los Angeles Clippers instead. While Davis won a title in the bubble, the Pelicans are better now.
Even if Zion Williamson hadn’t played them a minute before a season, the Pelicans seemed to have enjoyed playing with each other as the No. 8 seed last year in the Western Conference. Brandon Ingram became the star the Lakers knew he could always be when they drafted him. Trading for CJ McCollum was a huge boost to New Orleans’ backcourt in the second half as well.
