3 more deals the Eagles should go 17-0

The Eagles are NFC favorites, but they can increase their chances of winning the Super Bowl even more with these deals.

The Philadelphia Eagles were undefeated, and they stayed that way through Week 8. They’ve had their goodbyes, so they are sitting at 7-0. If they manage to win the last 10, they will finish the year without defeat at all, which, while difficult and possibly improbable, is not all out of the realm of possibilities.

They looked like the best team in the NFC and one of the two or three best teams in the entire NFL. There’s no doubt that they’ll represent the NFC in the Super Bowl except for an injury, a catastrophic meltdown, or a major return to shape for someone like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Frankly, there are quite a few holes in the Eagles’ roster, especially after they acquired Robert Quinn.

They don’t have flashy receiving stats and yardage, but that’s more of a playbook design than a distortion of Eagles receivers. On call, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith were great.

But going 17-0 takes a huge amount of effort and a bit of luck as well. A lot can and will go wrong over the course of 17 games, and having as many parts as possible to help keep things in order is key.

Here are some of the deals they can make to make their case more compelling.
